Rating files and locales

You can find rating files and locales (translations of the user interface) on the Resources page.

Be prepared!!

If you are going to use Sailwave for a regatta, please do take the time to go through a practice run beforhand to make sure that the regatta scoring itself goes smoothly. Using software for the first time in time-constraint conditions can cause a major headache!! Use the Sailwave User Group to get quick answers to your questions.

Existing installations

You do not need to uninstall a previous version before installing a new version of Sailwave.

Older versions

If you have previously been running a fairly old verison of Sailwave, please read the topic called "Notes for 1.57 or earlier users" in the "Getting started" section of the help file. You can view the help file from within Sailwave (Help+Contents menu) or the Help page of this website.

Existing Sailwave series files

Existing Sailwave series (.blw files) are always compatible with new versions, but may not work with previous versions after being saved with a new version. Always backup your series files (.blw files) before using a new version.
