Locales

Locales are small text files that translate the default English user interface into another language. You can create your own locale or download a previously created one from here.

Please read the locales documentation on the Sailwave Help file before you attempt to use or create a locale file.

Please note that these are plain text files. If you click on one and it opens in Notepad (say), rather then giving you "Save File" dialog, try right-clicking and selecting "Save Target As" instead.

Rating files

Rating files are very small files that can be downloaded and integrated into your Sailwave installation, so that you can pick classes and ratings for competitors rather than type them in yourself. If you would like to create a rating file of your own please refer to the documentation in the Sailwave help file. If you would like to donate your file to the site, please email it to enquiries@sailwave.com,

Please note that these are comma-separated-list (CSV) plain text files. If you click on one and it opens in Excel (say), rather then giving you "Save File" dialog, try right-clicking and selecting "Save Target As" instead.

Rating files should be saved to your Sailwave ratings folder. This is "c:\program files\sailwave\ratings" unless you have changed it in the Setup+GlobalOptions window.
