SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
As well as being one of the Sailwave authors, Jon has developed a number of tools including enhanced prizes and grand prix finishes. The Sailwave User Group has many threads relating to these tools.
An electronic device for controlling race signals that can produce race data that will import into Sailwave.
Sailrace systems have developed a software application running under Microsoft Access which when connected to their interface, runs all horns and collects data from a finish horn too. It can produce race data that will import into Sailwave.
Calum Polwart has developed a Joomla Component which will import Sailing event results from a Sailwave result file and automatically create a Joomla article from them.
It can be downloaded and more details from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/sports-a-games/sports/sailwaveimporter
A dedicated race timer with export to Sailwave, and automatic control of horns and lights.
